This is a serious wine with aromatics of dark plum, cherry, spice and earthy undertones. The palate is generous and rich and does not disappoint with these characters shining through, coupled with dark berries. A long tannin structure integrated with new and older French oak make this wine one that will age very well.
An elegant wine with aromas of dark cherry, white pepper and spice. Medium bodied with the usual sandy tannin structure combined with luscious red berry fruit of strawberries and raspberries. A fantastic food wine given the grainy tannin structure and length but also a gem when drunk on its own
Deep red/purple in colour, the wine is a heady mix of dark berry fruit, with earthy nuances and lifted florals from the addition of Viognier. Excellent structure, it has great depth and richness of plums and blackberries with supportive, balanced oak and a lingering finish
Aromatics of black cherry, sweet plum and hints of all spice are evident, whilst the palate is a little more serious with blackberries, spice and an earthiness that gives the wine a savoury note. The tannins are persistent and promote great length, backed up by a balanced acid structure.
The wine has elegant floral aromas which accompany fresh blueberries and red berry notes. The lees ageing adds a roundness to the palate which is beautifully balanced with the fine tannins and red berry fruit.
