Founded as a wine export company in 1680, the same family still runs the wine business at Max Ferdinand Richter. The vineyards at Brauneberg in 1643 are still used today and the winery buildings, built in 1880, are also still used. The ninth generation of the same family are still in charge at the winery, producing high quality German wines for all.
The vineyards at Max Ferd Richter are grown on steep, rocky slopes and in this hard terrain, the product is particularly rewarding. Smoke, fresh and slightly green fruits, gooseberry, mint, white peach, thyme and grapefruit are part of a nice and comparatively complex array of scents on the nose. The structure on the palate is round with good and juicy fruits. This is just dryish in taste and the finish is spicy and refreshing.

Made out of the coveted "Goldwingert" parcel, this classical Riesling Kabinett has an elegant and tender aromatic profile which offers lime, flowers and slate stone notes. This is a light style, but intensely flavoured Kabinett, juicy, frefreshing and minerally structured. All in all a spicy and racy typical Mosel Kabinett with long lasting lingering finish.
Ripe healthy grapes which were hand picked at last week of October 2013 at 93� Oechsle from old vines. Fermentation was temperature controlled in traditional old oak barrels (Fuder) using indigenous yeast.
