Very pale straw in colour with green flecks. The nose shows apple skin, some marzipan/clove spice and floral bath salts. On the palate the wine has plenty of tension without piercing or taut acidity, rather soft and sherbetty, relying on phenolics as opposed to acid to provide the structure.
Dense purple hues give way to an opulent nose showing the red fruits which are typical of the Huon Valley: pomegranate, cranberries and rhubarb compote.
