Creme brulee, grapefruit and hazelnut aromas are backed by sweet spice of lightly toasted oak. One of thefinestfoodwines,th eDoubleL Chardonnay will pair wonderfully with seafood and poultry dishes, as well as a buttery steak.
Fantastic Pinot although if you prefer a more subdued, more herbal and earthy wine, this will need to age a bit. It is there, but the cherries and acidity are dominant right now. Ready to drink if you like a brighter Pinot with a complex finish, but this will really mellow nicely with another year or so. I may wait for my next bottle.
