A traditional, bottle-fermented blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this attractive fizz shows rich, toasty, biscuity notes with plenty of fruit, good weight, creamy texture, sufficient acidity and agreeably yeasty flavour.
Grenache plays a leading role, giving a dark cherry lift with a silky mid-palate. Shiraz provides some weight, as well as dark fruits and earthy olive tapenade characters. Finally, Sagrantino, despite its low proportion, adds savoury tobacco and signature tannins giving a drying, snappy finish.

Silken, savoury and medium-bodied. Ripe cassis flavours are followed closely by a complex mix of savoury characters with cigar-box, brambles and earthy undergrowth notes. A lovely, tight spine of acidity runs through the palate.
On the nose, there are intense aromas of rich blackberry and ripe plum complemented by notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and figs. It is a full-bodied wine with mouth-coating, fine grained tannins leading to a long, savoury finish.
This wine is deep, bright crimson in colour with fresh aromas of black plum and blackcurrant blended with subtle mint and dried herbs. On the palate, there are complex flavours of dark chocolate, ripe cherry and bay leaf which are balanced with bright acidity. This is an elegant, medium bodied wine.
