Ken Forrester Wines

In the heart of South Africa's most popular and renowned wine region, Stellenbosch, the Ken Forrester winery is placed on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain. Ken Forrester produce individually made wines which still manage to achieve great value, alongside great quality.

Ken Forrester Wines are grown across 40 hectares of farmland, with 36 hectares approximately under wine. They grow a wide range of grape varietals from Chenin Blanc to Sauvignon Blanc to Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Ken Forrester is best known for its high quality Chenin Blanc but they produce a wide range of quality wines, as you can explore below.

The character is somewhat wild a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus. Great for laying down and keeping for at least ten years but already rewarding if allowed to breath in a decanter.
