Finca Las Moras is a pioneering Argentinian winery based in the San Juan region. The vineyards have been producing high quality wines since the early 1990s when the vineyards were fully restructured by Richard Smart. The vineyards at Finca Las Moras are surrounded by mulberry trees which gives them their name. The main grape varietals grown are Shiraz, Malbec, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc.
There are over 1,100 hectares of vineyard owned by the winery altogether and they focus on sustainable growing and planting methods. Their respect for the growing region helps to enhance the quality of their wines and they are proud to produce what they describe as 'truly Argentinian wines'. The people behind Finca Las Moras look closely at the soil conditions, climate and environment in all their growing areas to ensure optimal conditions for their chosen grapes. At The Fine Wine Company, we have a range of Finca Las Moras wines including examples of their Malbec, Viognier, Chardonnay Chenin and Pinot Grigio.
