Light to medium bodied with red cherries and strawberries with a slight savoury aspect. Very good starting point for those unfamiliar with Burgundy or for those who know Burgundy and enjoy decent wine at a decent price.
Lovely honeyed nose with ripe citrus and stone fruits. The palate is bursting with honeyed fruit, again ripe citrus and stone fruit, its quite soft in style yet tangy enough. Clean and minerally on the finish. Its a lovely rounded wine that just has the merest hint of tannin on the finish. On the whole its the mouthfilling character of the wine that really appeals.
