This is a naturally fermented, unfined, unfiltered, no added sulpher 'orange' wine. Bright straw yellow in colour. The nose is reminiscent of citrus fruit, apple, pear, lychee and elderberry. Enriched with elegant tannin due to the production method, this is fresh, fragrant and elegant.
Deep coloured wine with notes of blackberries and dried plums, fennel seeds and a touch of mocha. Round and powerful on the palate, with notes of vanilla, chocolate and plum, soft and well-balanced tannins and a long, spicy finish with an attractive chocolately twist.
A full dry, yet smooth and rich wine which has been aged for over 20 years in small oak casks via a Solera system. A perfect wine to serve at the end of a meal with its heady nutty flavours, caramel notes and mouth watering backbone of acidity. Pair with ripe creamy cheeses for a full on taste sensation.
