Bright ruby red. On the nose it is intense, florl, violets, lavender and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is intense, sweet, with smooth tannins that provides structure black fruit and subtle cocoa. Good persistence that brings back black fruits and violets with a touch of bitterness that adds character.
The grape that much of the world calls Carignan, Mazuelo, here offers a herbaceous, liquorice-scented wine, with plums and mature red fruits in the mouth and a savoury flourish of balsamic on the finish.
