Bodegas Navajas

We are very happy to be able to present a gorgeous collection of lively and exciting wines from Bodegas Navajas, the family run winery which is located in the village of Navarrete in the Rioja Alta region. This is a region which is known for its high quality fruit and old vines which can extract nutrients deep from the soil, leading to grapes which are infused with local character.

Rich heritage

Bodegas Navajas started up all the way back in 1918; they have kept going thanks to their drive and commitment towards producing excellent wine. Their pedigree, then, is beyond question. This is befitting for a wine region with an ancient lineage. As well as having a rich history, they also have an exciting present. Their facilities, thanks to huge redevelopments taking place in recent years, are now state of the art. These impressive facilities include three ageing cellars which can house 10,000 barrels. They also have the luxury of a hi-tech bottle ageing cellar which can take up to 200,000 bottles.

Experience and passion

They produce white and rosé, as well as being especially well-regarded for their red wines. Offering a vibrant range of options, they bottle some of these wines as young wines, whilst the others are held back as Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva wines. Over 100 years of experience means that a deep care and passion for the process has been passed down from generation to generation. It is their precision and focus on all the small details, such as the monitoring of vineyards and hand-harvesting, that makes their wine so special.
