Alois Lageder is a family wine estate which has a great reputation for exceptional viticulture and quality winemaking. They have a commitment to sustainable and holistically-driven business and the winery was first founded in 1823.
The winery is in fifth and sixth generation family ownership with Alois Lageder and Alois Clemens Lageder now directing the company. Innovation and tradition are key driving forces behind wine production here. Alois Lagederâs estate is based in the mountainous countryside of the Alto Adige region, in the north east of the country. The winery has a real focus on holistic and sustainable production, respecting the soil and keeping spraying and other invasive processes to a minimum. They have a range of different wine collections and at the Fine Wine Company our range of Alois Lageder wines incorporate examples of their Pinot Grigio vintages, their sweet and fresh Lagrein Rosato and rich and classic Pinot Noir.
Very perfumed, rich, slightly smoky, uplifted varietal aroma paired with elegant oak spice. Clean, grapey and full-bodied in flavour this is soft, creamy and delicate with a fresh finish. Remarkably long and spicy.

Straw-yellow colour with a green shimmer. On the nose, fruity aromas of apples and peaches combine with very well-integrated oak spice. Elegant and medium bodied with a round and fresh, mouth-watering finish. When cellared well, this wine may be kept for three to five years.
A quite superb rose with a deep, dark pink colour. Almost like a light-red it has juicy, fruity aromas with floral , violet notes. The palate is medium-bodied and ripe with a slight bitter edge to the black cherry and raspberry fruit.
Crisp, minerally wine with very fine aromas of apples, peaches and lemon. The palate is light and refreshing with lithe citrus and peach fruit cut by bright acidity and a streak of minerality. Very fresh and elegant in style.
Brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer. Quite pronounced and expressive aroma with flowery and somewhat spicy notes. Rich flavoured in the mouth with a slight smokiness at the back and a good, fresh finish.
