This lightly peated dram showcases the distillery's six-part maturation. Two Isle of Raasay spirits – peated and unpeated – combine with three distinct cask types – Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak, and Bordeaux red wine casks.
Elegant, lightly peated overall. American oak develops a nutty sweet spice in the spirit, while the previous bourbon contents develop caramel and toffee. The french red-wine casks add their savoury spice and dark fruit.
