Coastal Region

The Coastal Region is a large wine producing area in the Western Cape of South Africa. It is at the heart of the South African wine industry and stretches from Darling in the North to Constantia in the South. As such a large area it produces a huge range of different wine varieties, including many high quality white wines.

The huge range of grapes grown across the Coastal Region includes Sauvignon Blanc which I grown along the coast and in the south, as well as from bushes in the North. Although most of the grapes grown in the Coastal Region are red, there is some Chenin Blanc growth in addition to the Sauvignon, and also some Chardonnay. You can explore Coastal Region white wines available at The Fine Wine Company below.
