Aconcagua

Aconcagua is one of Chile’s leading wine regions and it covers all the wine growing regions in Valparaiso. It is split into three smaller districts: Casablanca Valley, Leyda Valley and Aconcagua Valley. It is around 40 miles north of Santiago and is defined as a Chilian Denomination of Origina (DO) in their appellation system.

Producing exceptional quality reds and whites, Aconcagua benefits from a Mediterranean style climate and soils which range from clay and sandy in the east and granite to the west.
