McLaren Vale

The McLaren Vale region in Australia is known around the globe for its fragrant and aromatic dry red wines. The wines are usually made from Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre grapes. Shiraz accounts for around 50% of the total crush in the region and the area has thin soils, limited water and warm summers which bolster and strengthen the natural vigour and vibrancy of the Shiraz grape.
