Light and pale in colour with a golden straw hue. On the nose, subtle aromas of citrus pith and white floral notes settle into layers of almond, dried pineapple and lanolin. The palate is restrained with a viscous, waxy mouthfeel and great natural acidity and freshness typical of old vine Chenin.
This wine has a lovely, bright light yellow colour. The nose is complex with tropical fruits and melon followed by flinty notes. The palate is rich and broad, reminiscent of the koffieklip soils, with well-balanced acidity from the first picking.
On the nose there are tropical and grapefruit notes with a lime character, typical of the Darling region. The palate is bursting with intense citrus flavours, this wine is a feat for such a variety in the hot Swartland climate.
