This wine is pale gold in colour and very expressive on the nose with aromas of bright citrus fruit and white flowers. The palate has a lovely texture from the oak ageing, with concentrated flavours of white peach and vanilla balanced with racy acidity.
In the right hands, the often overlooked Aligot� grape variety can shine. Using grapes from 60-year-old vines gives this Aligot� a beautiful concentration with a lovely balance of power, richness and acidity. It has a lovely finish of nougat and toasted hazelnuts.
Pale yellow in colour, the 2018 Montagny 1er Cru 'Les Burnins' reveals an extremely concentrated and floral nose, with hints of honeysuckle, citrus blossom and ripe apples. The pure and elegant palate is balanced by a crisp acidity and a lovely minerality on the mid-palate.
On the nose, this wine is nicely defined showing aromas of apricot, peach and pear. The palate seamlessly blends the elegant aromas of vanilla and nutmeg from the new oak with a good tension and a racy acidity which lifts the scented finish.

A fine nose of energetic and ripe citrus with almost a ginger-spice component. Round, easy in the mouth but again there is that ginger spice. Not your typical white Mercury but beautiful none the less.
This Chardonnay is mineral-infused with a higher toned citrus element. A little retained petillance- the energy partly due to that. Modestly touched with tannin and with great intensity of flavour. Long finish. Some aging potential here!
