Bright ruby in the glass. Fresh berry aromas layered with subtle spice and smoky notes. Light to medium bodied with young juicy berry flavours, fine integrated oak and smooth tannins. A beautifully balanced wine with a soft finish.
Aromas of bright red cherries and cassis with perfumed hints of lavender spices. An elegant medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity. Subtle oaking emphasises the fruit flavours, with a lingering finish.
The character is somewhat wild a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus. Great for laying down and keeping for at least ten years but already rewarding if allowed to breath in a decanter.
Distinctive aromas of ripe plum and pepper spices, mouth-filling sweet red-berry flavours and gentle tannins characterize this wine. A touch of Viognier was co-fermented with the Shiraz for the aromatic lift it gives to the wine, which emphasises the berry fruit and spice aromas on the nose. The American oak barrels give a hint of vanilla spice and contribute to the smooth silky tannins.
A rich, full-bodied yet elegant style of Pinotage paying homage to the parentage of Pinotage, namely Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. The wine displays vibrant black fruit flavours overlain with stem-derived spicy flavours. The palate greets with vibrant plum, blueberry and cranberry flavours supported by firm, velvety tannins. This wine will reward with careful cellaring.
