Grenache Noir, Shiraz and Mouvdre. Lots of spicy notes, including pepper and hints of nutmeg coming from the Shiraz, bright red cherry and plum fruit from Grenache noir, and finally the depths of the mid-palate offer a rich fullness and length from the Mourvdre. This excellent trio create a medium bodied wine with undertones of oak.
This wine is deep ruby red in colour. Aromas of clove and subtle white pepper followed by plum with hints of elegant spice. A luscious and rich palate followed by smooth, integrated oak and well-balanced tannins.
Vibrant light red colour. Red berry fruit and subtle pepper harmonise with cardamom and iron-like spice. This elegantly built wine benefits from a lightness which does not hinder its complexity. Fine tannins and good acidity will help this wine evolve well over the next few years in bottle. As a single varietal, the Grenache is juicy and savoury with lovely tannins.
Black cherry infused with cardamom and nutmeg on the nose. Intense fruit shows well on the palate, with elegant iron-like tones adding to the savoury character of the wine. Medium bodied with elegant oak from the old French barrels.
A youthful punch of red and black fruits on the nose with a delightfully savoury touch of black olive. That continues on the harmonious and well-weighted palate. A youthful, solid and (most importantly) delicious wine.
