Powerful and aromatic, with a perfume of dark red berry fruits. On the palate the wine is well rounded with lots of delicious red and black fruit flavours including dark cherry, black plum, raspberry and blackberry with touches spice and toast adding complexity. It has a smooth persistent finish with supple, ripe tannins and lovely balancing acidity.
An elegant red wine with a delicate fruit aroma of damsons and blackberries, soft fresh fruit flavours and classic spice and chocolate from ageing in top quality French oak barrel. The wine finishes with lingering, ripe tannins and intense flavours of cassis, blueberry and spices.
Is a selection of our premium grapes from the Azamor vineyards; it is a smooth rounded blend of fruity aromas and dense fruit that gives way to a soft tannin finish. Selected Vines is probably the most typical Alentejo wine of our range.
Attractive and youthful ruby colour. Aromas include notes of dark cherries and blueberries. On the palate the wine is dry, clean, well structured with good acidity and a good concentration on the finish.
This wine is golden with youthful hues. On the nose, there are aromas of citrus flowers, Mirabelle plum and hints of peach. On the palate, it is smooth and complex, thanks to the time in oak, and has a refreshing acidity which ensures a long and fresh finish.
Vibrant ruby in colour. The nose is dominated by concentrated wild red and black berries, with hints of herbs and some cedary notes from oak ageing. On the palate, this is a smooth, rich and full-bodied wine, with elegant tannins providing structure. The acidity is well balanced and the finish is long and very complex.
The Reserva has a very deep garnet-red colour. The nose has excellent intensity and aromatic complexity with a core of well-ripened plums, raspberries and blackberries enriched by spicy pepper, menthol and tobacco notes. Full-bodied on the palate with firm, ripe tannins, balanced acidity and an intense, long and complex finish.
Vibrant ruby in colour. The intense aroma is dominated by a mixture of wild raspberries and riper black fruits such as blackberries and plums. The palate is dense, with refined tannins, well-balanced acidity and a long finish.
A blend that changes slightly each year, the last few vintages of this wine have been on fire. Beautifully defined dark fruit (there always seems to be a generous lick of cassis in this wine, even when the Cabernet component is actually quite modest), just a frame of toasty oak (although that roasted Alentejo character amalgamates with that too), and just enough Alicante crunch to keep it all fres…
