Dark ruby colour. Bright and lifted with excellent concentration. The nose is elegant with aromas of ripe red fruit including cherries and a touch of oak. The palate is full with great structure and an attractive chewy and grainy character. The finish is long and fresh.

The Clos du Chapitre is a monopole, located on the appellation Chapitre and entirely closed with a stone wall. This plot of more than 1 hectare is located just behind the family house. Fine, elegant and structured, the Clos du Chapitre shows a very Burgundian expression of Pinot Noir.
Hand-made crop in small cases of 10 kgs, sorting table, traditional wine-making, vatting of the destemmed crop from two weeks in open wooden vats, with a maturing from 12 to 18 months in oak barrels with 30 % of new oak.
