A dark garnet colour. The nose is focused on woody notes and kirsch. Full and rich, the palate shows red cherry and redcurrant flavours with mouthwatering freshness and pleasant tannins on the finish. Though drinking well now, it will reward some time in the cellar.
This fine, elegant Clos du Chapitre is a very burgundian style of Pinot noir. Aromas of red fruit dominate the nose with violets and cherry in abundance. Fine, supple tannins and a refreshing acidity on the palate make this a truly remarkable bottle of Pinot.
Beautiful bright ruby-red colour. Aromas of pured raspberry, red currant and blackberry. Pretty and refined on the nose. On the palate there is an abundance of red fruit and a touch of spice. The tannin structure is silky creating an elegant Pinot Noir that is supple and fresh.
The Clos du Chapitre is a monopole, located on the appellation Chapitre and entirely closed with a stone wall. This plot of more than 1 hectare is located just behind the family house. Fine, elegant and structured, the Clos du Chapitre shows a very Burgundian expression of Pinot Noir.
Pale gold in colour, the Santenay 1er Cru 'Passetemps' offers aromas of white fruit such as lychee, exotic fruit such as pineapple and a clean minerality on the nose. The palate is very rich with smoky and mineral flavours and great acidity to balance the wine perfectly.
This wine has an attractive shiny light ruby colour. It is both refined and very frank on the nose and palate. It opens to aromas of red fruits. Its silky tannins support the balance of a wine, such that it can be kept for some time (5 to 7 years) while remaining pleasant in its youth.
A hint of reduction with this dark fruity wine - almost suggesting some chocolate too. Well structured, the tannin is fine, open with clarity of flavour. Supported by some very subtle oak complexity, classy!
