The pinot noir grape simply thrives in the Burgundy's climate and allows them to produce a range of wines of every quality, with many of the greatest Grand and Premier Cru Burgundies produced in the Côte de Nuits area. The Aloxe-Corton 'Les Brunettes et Planchots' exudes seriousness. It boasts a smoky and savoury character, coupled with ripe, sweet red and earthy, black berry fruits. On the palate the tannins are ripe and round, well-balance with racy acidity. It has a beautiful concentration and will last for several more years yet.
Beautiful dense, dark garnet. This is an extremely appealing wine which is powerful and aromatic. Forward and scented with excellent depth, a good flavour intensity and a supple structure. Flavours of dark cherry, blackberry and blueberry mingle with delicate nuances of oak including vanilla, mocha and cloves.

This is a beautiful wine with subtle touches of wood and rich dark berries aromas on the nose. Still young, it needs to be cellared for a couple of years and will become even better, ageing beautfillu and gaining great flavours of leather and spice.

The colour is a deep, dark red with mauve highlights and the wine is attractively scented, boasting aromas of juicy bramble fruit. It is well structured on the palate, with grainy tannins and good length. The oak is nicely restrained thanks to the small portion of wine that went into barrel.
Cherry is the overwhelming perfume on this Premier Cru. Black cherries are supported by blackberries and raspberries. Lovely tannins on the palate, and beautiful finesse.
