A ripe, black fruit nose. Beautiful attack on the palate, consistent in the mouth; beautiful tannins and a lovely fruity finish. A certain opulence is present due to the characteristics of the vintage, but there is also much freshness, elegance and balance in the wine. It is a perfect expression of the terroir of La Lagune. Certainly one of the best Moulin de La Lagune vintages since 2000!
The wine is very aromatic with a nose of ripe black cherries and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins and opulent fruit, which continues through to the finish. The use of both old and new oak adds a spicy complexity to the palate. The finish is long and smooth.
