The nose boasts bright aromas of blackberries with hints of cinnamon and clove from the oak. The palate is well balanced, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, concentrated fruit and a lifted finish. It is rare to find a Pauillac like this wine that is both affordable and approachable.
Les Tourelles de Longueville offers a lovely deep ruby-red colour. The floral, fresh and complex nose reveals aromas of spices and redcurrants. The attack is smooth, elegant and subtle, leading into robust structure. The finish is elegant and long-lasting, carried along nicely by its tannins and nice ripe fruit.
What a vintage! A complex nose with lots of present aromas. Intense floral notes of rose and violet as well as wild basil and rosemary. A lovely complex, savory, rounded palate. Flavours of strawberry, morello cherry and white tobacco. Fine and well-tuned, long and unctuous; well-structured, well-balanced and intense.
