From vines that were planted in 1970 by Chandon with the view of making sparkling wine. After Chandon moved to Mendoza these vineyards were acquired by Canale Family. Very delicate on the nose, with a very Burgundian style. Spicy and earthy on the palate, with plenty of intense red fruits, forest oor and a very juicy mouthfeel.
An attractive purplish red colour with intense notes of dried fruit such as prunes and figs combined with hints of vanilla and toasted bread thanks to the ageing in oak. It has a good structure in the mouth, long and well rounded and very powerful.
This Pinot Noir represents the best of the varietal in Argentina, it shows the characteristic terroir of the Alto Valle del R�o Negro oasis. It is a mature wine, intense and elegant, rich in taste and flavour. This is the first Pinot Noir crafted in oak
