Crystal clear. Almost neutral aromatics reveal nuances of cream and meringue followed by a touch of white pepper. Super smooth leading into an off dry profile with a soft texture followed by hints of wet stone and meringue. Finishes with a delicate pepper burst. Often wrongly categorised as a flavoured vodka, Krupnik (pronounced 'krrup-nick') is actually a liqueur and is defined as such on the label. Thought to have originated in the 16th century, the honey used in its production of Krupnik is taken from wild bees in forest areas.
Made in Poland by the famous Polmos Lublin distillery using Spelt, an ancient wheat first recorded in the South Caucasus, it has been cultivated for thousands of years in the Middle East & Europe. Named after an endangered cat native to the mountain ranges of central and southern Asia.
