Launched in 1988 to celebrate Brugal's centenary. Aged in ex-American whiskey barrels with a small proportion also aged in first-fill ex-sherry butts, before vatting and finishing for a further period in ex-American whiskey barrels. The total aging period is between 14 and 16 years.

Distilled from fermented molasses in the Dominican Republic, this golden rum is aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for undisclosed period before being married in what the producers describe as a �15-year solera� system.
