The Broken Heart Barrel Aged Gin offers a myriad of botanicals on the nose, including classic aromas of juniper berry and coriander supported by floral notes and a delicate spice. On the palate it is moreish and warming with a lightly toasted oak character from the chardonnay barrels and a lingering finish. This is a sipping spirit, which can be enjoyed on the rocks or just neat.
This Gin was created by two Germans living in New Zealand. When Bernd died, Joerg decided to continue the project and named it Broken Heart. Made using eleven botanicals, this is delicious in a G&T served with a slice of orange.
