Coppery topaz in the glass with a characterful, intense, vibrant nose showing candied chestnut and dried currants mingled with luscious oaky notes of cigar box and sandalwood. Very mellow, complex palate
V.S. Very Superior is the youngest grading for cognac and Armagnac. Matured in Gascon oak, the nose displays distinctive vanilla oak. Young and light in colour, but possessing great complexity on the palate and a distinctive earthy character. Warm spirit finish. A serious alternative to cognac.
A brilliant pale yellow. Delicate on the nose with a woody, vanilla character and a hint of port or sherry. Notes of rose petals, dried fruits and hazelnut, almond and walnut. Supple and velvety on the palate with an intense floral aroma and a touch of spice and liquorice. A long, lingering finish.
