Chenin, also called Pinot de la Loire, is the historical grape variety of our hillsides. It was harvested here at maturity, by hand, during the month of October. You will thus discover a beautiful lemony freshness in the mouth, with just enough liveliness to bring out its notes of mandarin, grapefruit and pear
This wine is pale lemon yellow in colour. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of white peach, pear, mango and a touch of minerality. On the palate, this wine is supple and delicate, with well-balanced sweetness and a long, intense finish.
Pretty slightly amber shade. Of beautiful intensity, the nose opens on a floral background that are embellished with notes of boxwood, hazelnut and citrus. A wide mouth and structured by a liveliness rich in candied citrus supported by a beautiful acidity giving it a good length. A touch of mentholated and saline bitterness come to raise the end of the palate.
The clean, pure gooseberry flavour of Sauvignon Blanc is gentled and rendered charming by aromas of tropical fruit, without losing the signature flinty elegance of the Sancerre region of the Loire Valley.
