The palate is well balanced and structured, with juicy fresh tannins and a dry finish. Distinct notes of red fruit and spice on the palate, all add to this complex and enjoyable wine.
Reyneke's Reserve Red is a very special complex, aromatic Syrah, displaying the grape's signature white pepper spice. Grapes for the 2014 vintage were crushed by foot in concrete fermentation tanks, as per tradition, then aged for 22 months in oak.
