Intense on the nose, the aromas are a perfect blend of candied fruits, with hints of spice and toast. The palate is fresh and very aromatic, lifted by ripe citrus flavours, and notes of pineapple, quince and sweet spices.
These wines are straw yellow with golden reflections. Open and pronounced, the nose complex bouquet of intense fruit flavours, forest honey, exotic fruits, physalis, mango,passion fruit, subtle hints of citrus, wild herbs. The palate is sweet and harmonious with refreshing acidity. This is a very expressive sweet wine with a long finish.
Icewine is Canada's intense sweet wine and this Cabernet Franc version is fragrant with rhubarb, raspberry, blackberries and herbs, while the acidic flavours of redcurrants and pomegranates prevents the considerable sweetness from becoming overpowering.
