Following the extensive lees ageing, the palate is fine, mouth-filling and structured, with wonderfully soft acidity, discreet notes of strawberry, redcurrant and apple, and complex flavours of pastry and nougat on the finish.
With an inviting foam profile and fine bubbles, this top quality sparkling wine develops superbly in the glass. Aromas of green apple and lemon cake are complemented by hints of brioche and dried dates. With a dosage of just 2g/l, the bone-dry palate is supported by vibrant citrus peel and toasty notes, animated by a subtle minerality and refreshingly crisp acidity.
