Domaine de Saint-Lannes, Cotes de Gascogne, 2013
Combining the lesser known Colombard and Gros Manseng grapes, this French white is crisp and appetising with a smooth, easy drinkability. It is a stand out example from the area and has a perfume and rich mouthfeel that rivals even the finest New World Sauvignon Blancs.
Domaine Roquemoliere, Picpoul de Pinet, 2013

Light and aromatic, this is one French white wine designed for summer day’s drinking. It’s a classic from the Languedoc region and is crisp and fresh on the palate.
Mont Rocher, Viognier, 2013

With a classic Viognier feel, this wine is rich in floral honeysuckle notes as well as apricots and a real fruity richness. The mouthfeel overall is dry and tangy, with the fruitiness coming through.
Montsable, Chardonnay, IGP DOC, 2013
Produced as a classic Burgundian variety, this French white is rich in aromatic yellow fruits and white flowers with a touch of vanilla. The fruitiness comes through strongly on the palate with just the slightest hints of acidity and mineral undertones.

Other whites in the box are La Place, Sauvignon Blanc IGP Cotes de Gascogne and Sylvain Gaudron, Vouvray Sec.

Escale, Pinot Noir Vin de France, 2013
Lightly oaked, elegant and richly fruity, this French wine shows off the classic flavours of the Pinot grape with other red fruits, including raspberries coming through as well as silky tannins.
Les Vignobles Andre Lurton, Chateau Bonnet Red, 2011
Produced with style and class, this French red bursts with red berry and cherry flavours alongside smokier notes. Smooth on the palate, it has a long and satisfying finish.
Monstable, Pinot Noir, 2013
A classic Burgundian Pinot Noir which is rich in cherries, strawberries and even bramble flavours, with a whisper of vanilla underlying them all. The fruity flavour is exceptionally deep and there is a touch of mineral flavour and acidity bringing the flavours together.

Other reds in the box are Domaine du Barres Saint Chinian, Le Casse Noix Syrah and Chateau Petit Moulin, Bordeaux Rouge.
